The Sitka team upgrades the Sitka servers to a new version of Evergreen once every year to introduce needed fixes and new features.
The timing of the upgrade varies. Evergreen is unavailable during the upgrade window; however, steps are taken to ensure that authenticate continues for most 3rd party products.
The date of the upgrade is announced at least 3 months prior to the upgrade.
Training webinars to highlight new features and changes are offered ahead of the upgrade and resources are created to assist library staff with using the new version of Evergreen.
