Accounts & Login

To do any work on your website, you need to have an account and be logged in to access the administrative Dashboard of your LibPress site.


Accounts

Submit a ticket to request a LibPress account for new staff. Be sure to include:

  • the full name of the staff member which will be used to create a username (we prefer to avoid generic usernames such as “Supervisor”).
  • the staff member’s email

The staff member will be notified with a password reset email once the account has been created.

Note: All accounts will be given full site manager capabilities. There is an exception in the role of Events Manager which is restricted in access to Events management only, and can be assigned to staff such as the Summer Reading Club coordinators, or even external staff to manage the Events Community Calendar option.


Login to your Dashboard

  1. Go to your website address and add “login” at the end of the URL: http://maple.bc.libraries.coop/login
  2. Use your assigned credentials (please don’t share login information, send a request for your own).
  3. Once logged in, you’ll be directed to your Dashboard: the administration screen that gives you access to maintenance tools and other information about your LibPress site.

Lost password recovery

  • Go to the login page and click the Lost your password? link. You will be sent an email to reset your password.
  • If you have lost both your user ID and your password, please contact LibPress Support to receive new credentials.
